A new play by Gert Hofmann translated from the German and adapted for radio by DONALD WATSON
With Sybil Thorndike
Gert Hofmann , who teaches at Edinburgh University, is one of the most successful of the younger German playwrights. His play Power of Persuasion was produced in the West End of London some time ago. The Son deals with the age-old subject of the returning soldier in a tragi-comic vein.
