Mary Dannon attempts to escape from her troubled life in Atlantic City but is found working as a dancer in Portland by Derek Lidor , a private detective hired by her husband. When the husband is brutally murdered, Lidor discovers that Mary ran away from a similar killing in Atlantic City.
