This is the Light Programme's first Speedway broadcast of the season-the First Division match between Belle Vue. Manchester, and West Ham. At the time of writing. Belle Vue is top of the Division on points average, while West Ham is four points below them, with a match in hand. Belle Vue is skippered by the veteran Jack Parker , and among the stars of the ' Hammers ' is Aub Lawson , the Australian, who has been in such fine form recently. Taking place at Belle Vue, the match should give the home team an advantage, but it does not always turn out that way
