Frances Pitt naturalist, writer, and photographer of wild life talks to Phil Drabble at her Shropshire home
Before the cult for Nature had reached its present intensity, Frances Pitt was known to tens of thousands for her writings and for her photographs of wild animals and birds. Miss Pitt is a countrywoman par excellence, for not only is she a famous naturalist, she has also run her own large farm and was for many years a Master of Fox-hounds. In Phil Drabble she finds a listener who shares her enthusiasms.
