Nicky Marotta has lived most of her life on the rough and seamy streets around New York's Times Square. Pamela Pearl is the pampered daughter of a rising politician. Together they become the Sleez Sisters and set off an a rampage round the city that outrages the authorities and turns them into cult heroines. The film features a packed rock soundtrack that includes music by The Pretenders, Talking Heads, Roxy Music and Gary Numan.
