Tension mounts as the rescue operation gets under way ... Johnny is the most desperate of the trapped victims to get off the collapsing bridge with his ill-gotten loot. But afraid of being double-crossed, he refuses to let anyone on to the bridge despite the pleas of Paul for his sick son and Theresa for the wounded Harvey.
