Tonight's gala Sportsview comes from the stage of the BBC Television Theatre in London, before an audience of more than 300 sporting personalities featuring the Champions and Personalities of 1967.

Highlights of 1967 include The F.A. Cup Final, Wimbledon, The Grand National, The Derby, The World Heavyweight Championship, Ryun v. Keino, The Rugby Union Internationals, The Rugby League Cup Final and presentations to The Team of the Year, The Outstanding Personality from Overseas.
