Oscar Peterson remembers some of his great jazz friendships, including the late Dizzy Gillespie. He also discusses the art of accompanying and his role as a teacher, especially regarding his protege, pianist Benny Green. He brings his story up to date with an account of the quartet he has led since recovering from illness in the early nineties.
