Resnick: Lonely Hearts

Three-part drama serial adapted by John Harvey from his novels about an unconventional police detective, starring Tom Wilkinson Sustained by elaborate sandwiches and jazz, Resnick tackles crime on the streets of Nottingham with a unique blend of dedication, intuition and humour. But his skills are tested by a domestic murder case which has a devastating effect on his already troubled personal life. Tom Wilkinson recently appeared in BBC2's Underbelly and ITV's Prime Suspect.
