EastEnders 8.00pm BBC1
It's a big week for the unfortunate, incarcerated Little Mo, whose appeal against her conviction and eight-year sentence for the attempted murder of her brutal husband Trevor is due to get under way. We don't actually find out her fate until Thursday, and we rather mysteriously don't see Little Mo at all this week.
Tonight's episode is largely taken up with Kat's increasingly desperate attempts to hang on to Donna, Trevor's similarly abused current wife. The poor woman has agreed to give evidence at the appeal hearing, but life chez Slater is becoming too much for her. She's so upset that she's turned, rather alarmingly, the same colour as her very pale jumper.
Still, who can blame Donna for becoming jumpy and stressed with that lot yelling all the time? Is there a soap family on earth who can communicate with each other without shouting? The Slaters always speak at megaphone level, and it seems that being effectively held prisoner amid this aural bombardment has taken its toll. To the family's horror, she vanishes - after they have received a phone call from the prison governor about Little Mo. The news is bad...
