When Laura Breckenridge finds that her late husband stole a quarter-of-a-million dollars in gold bars from the Denver Mint, she is determined to save the family name by returning the gold when the theft is discovered; and that is why Sam Whiskey finds himself diving into the Platte River with a coal scuttle on his head!
In this lively comedy Western Angie Dickinson plays the beautiful and persuasive Laura with Burt Reynolds - as her reluctant but enterprising knight errant.
