Jane McDonald, an unknown a year ago, is now a household name thanks to her singing appearances on the BBC1 docu-soap series The Cruise. Recently she concluded a national tour with a show at the London Palladium. This film reflects on a year that saw Jane become a star, shows her rehearsing and preparing to appear on stage before a packed Palladium house, and also features previously unseen footage from The Cruise.
