Composer of the Week: Sibelius

"My sanity is failing... everything is going to pieces," wrote Sibelius in his diary on New Year's Eve, 1912. In the last of this week's five programmes Donald Macleod recounts some of the many difficulties that Sibelius faced from his forties onwards and considers some of his later works.
