2: The Lobster Pot
In his concluding programme about the new religious sects, William Nicholson concentrates on five groups - the Children of God, the Divine Light Mission, the Hare Krishna movement, the Scientologists and the Unification Church.
' They differ from each other in many respects, but they have this in common: they are buitt like lobster pots - easy to get into. and extremely hard to get out of.' Where the first programme investigated the sects' appeal, the second looks at the darker side - again through the eyes solely of past and present devotees.
