Over the Black Mountains

on Regional Programme Wales

View in Radio Times

A ' Wanderer' programme from Abergavenny.
The programme devised by Dorothy Howard Rowlands and produced by T. Rowland Hughes with the collaboration of the Wanderer.
In a previous programme the Wanderer followed the Haven of Milford and brought to the microphone some Pembrokeshire people whom he had met. At Abergavenny tonight new friends of his have good yarns to tell of the Black Mountains, of Father Ignatius, of milling, farming, and weaving in Monmouthshire, and of bell-ringing and ancient customs in this old market town.
