When aspiring journalist Carly Perkins is turned down for a top sports-writing job she is understandably furious ... but not beaten.
The next day she returns to the office as Carl Parsons sporting a jacket, pants, and a beard! Totally fooled, the editor offers Carl the job convinced he has finally found the right 'man' for the job.
Her disguise spells trouble when Carl is sent to interview a famous sporting man-eater played by Joan Collins.
