Walter Brennan France has fallen and Henry Morgan is earning his living on the island of Martinique by renting out his cabin cruiser. He turns down an offer to work for the French underground, preferring to remain neutral. But when he is brought face to face with the true nature of the Vichy police, he begins to question his own attitude. This famous Howard Hawks picture provided a classic role for Bogart - as well as introducing him and the public to Lauren Bacall.
