K. W. Wedderburn broadcasts the first of his four commentaries on current affairs in this fortnightly series Professor Wedderburn is a lawyer, a founder member of the Cambridge humanists, has published strong views on student selection for higher education, and includes broadcasting among his hobbies. After a double starred first in Law at Cambridge, he was a Fellow of Clare College for twelve years, was called to the Bar, Middle Temple, and now in his thirties is Sir Ernest Cassel Professor of Commercial Law, London School of Economics and Political Science.
