Sportsnight: The Rome International Horse Show

on BBC One London

from Rome's Piazza di Siena
The Individual Grand Prix
a prestige event in the show-jumping world.

Britain's David Broome, Harvey Smith, Ted Edgar, Peter Robeson, John Greenwood and Ann Moore will attempt yet again to break Italy's almost total monopoly of one of the world's most coveted titles.
The Italians are led by Graziano Mancinelli, Olympic gold medallist and last year's winner of this event.
There have been two British triumphs in the Individual Grand Prix. Harvey Smith won it on O'Malley in 1963 and the late Bill Hanson won it on The Monarch in 1953.
