' The Need for Mechanisation '
A round table discussion on the place of mechanisation in agriculture today, between
Clyde Higgs , T. C. Ward , T. H. Turney , and Viscount Lymington
In the chair, Anthony Hurd
Viscount Lymington , speaking from experience on his own estate in Hampshire, will put the case against excessive mechanisation. He will be supported by a well-known Shropshire farmer, T. C. Ward. On the other hand, Clyde Higgs , of Hatton Rock, Stratford-upon-Avon, and T. H. Turney , a Northamptonshire farmer, will advocate a wide extension of mechanisation, the latter quoting his own experience to show what the machine has done for him as a farmer.
