Mother has offered Johnnie Harvill a partnership in the antique shop and, after thinking it over, he's accepted. I hope she isn't being precipitate, but it's never any good trying to influence Mother once she's made her mind up I Vicky seems pleased, too, so I suppose it's a good idea. Jim is having a bit of difficulty getting a locum to replace Louise. Mother tells me Louie Harrison has found out about Alec and Louise and is very distressed. Sue's new boy-friend, Bill Harvill , came to supper with her the other night; she seems to like him very much indeed.
