This great heritage, held in trust for the nation, has never been so splendidly displayed, nor has it been more accessible to the public. This special programme shows how the interests and energies of the present Royal Family have extended and enhanced the collections and buildings, and the care and scholarship which continue to maintain this legacy of British history.
The film includes sequences at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and on board HMY Britannia.
