This is the last of three talks about the recent meeting of the International Astronomical Union. Dr. Smith discusses some topics featured in the General Assembly-in particular, the American ' West Ford ' space project, and why it has angered astronomers. The diagram above shows the distribution of the West Ford needles about the earth, and the principle behind the experiment
