on 2LO London and 5XX Daventry

View in Radio Times

Relayed from Birmingham
TN his first talk Professor Burstall dealt generally with the ways in which heat is converted into power. Today ho will go on to explain how it is that the internal-combustion engine uses so much more of the heat supplied to it than any other type, and ho will sketch the essential features of a modern road motor—a subject about which, in this age of petrol, many of his listeners will already know a good deal.
