Miss Marple: The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side

on BBC One London

Another chance to see the story that brought to a conclusion the BBC's filming of the entire sequence of Agatha Christie 's Miss Marple novels, starring Joan Hickson Gossington Hall has new owners - the American film star Marina Gregg and her director husband Jason Rudd. Upholding tradition, Marina allows the annual charity fete to be held in the grounds and the whole village of St Mary Mead turns up, agog with curiosity. However, during the private reception in the house, local worthy Heather Badcock is taken ill and dies. Foul play is suspected and Superintendent Slack assigns Inspector
Craddock to the case. The first person he calls on is his aunt - Jane Marple.
