C. H. MIDDLETON
This evening Mr. C. H. Middleton and Mr. E. R. James are to hold a discussion on the summer sowing of vegetables. By sowing early varieties of carrots, turnips, peas, potatoes, and other vegetables agSin in late June and July, we can enjoy fresh young vegetables again in the autumn-a point not often appreciated by the average amateur gardener.
Mr. James is a member of the staff of one of the big seed firms, and is responsible for their wonderful exhibits as seen at the Chelsea Flower Show.
