The first three finalists who have emerged from the twenty-three eliminating contests and who compete this week in the first round of the finals are:

James Wilkie of Sussex
(representing the South of England)
A.F. Orton of Leicester
(representing the Midlands)
The programme includes:
"What Do You Want To Know?" in which "The Professor" answers interesting questions sent by listeners.
