Saturday Late Film:The Giant Spider Invasion

on BBC One London

starring
Barbara Hale , Steve Brodie
After a mysterious explosion rocks a small Wisconsin town, farmer Sam Kester finds some small, round shells scattered about his land. He is loath to report his find to the local sheriff because the shells seem to be encrusted with diamonds. But the 'diamonds' turn out to be mutated eggs, each hatching spiders which soon terrorise the entire area - including a giant man-eating specimen which makes the shark in Jaws 'look like a goldfish'!
