THE REMAINING DIFFERENCE WITH ROME

on Third Programme

Reflections on the writings of Hans Kiing by R. J. Ehrlich
Minister of Junction Road Church (Church of Scotland), Edinburgh
Hans Kung is Professor of Fundamental Theology in the Catholic Faculty at Tubingen. His book on the forthcoming Ecumenical Council and Reunion has now appeared in an English version. It seems to narrow. the field of disagreement between the Reformed Churches and Rome very considerably indeed.
Dr. Ehrlich believes however that to be properly understood Kiing's writings must be viewed as a whole and that for any further progress in the dialogue ' the Protestant protest is still relevant and vitally necessary.
