Doctors to Be - Where Are They Now?

on BBC One London

As a curtain-raiser to Wednesday's Your NHS day, the BBC's longest-running observational documentary series makes a return. For 18 years cameras have followed six doctors, beginning with their medical-school interviews and continuing until the present. Some of the six are reaching the top of the medical profession, while others have opted to leave their vocation entirely. This film examines their lives in the light of the wider implications for patients and provides an insight into Britain's beleaguered NHS. Producers Sadie Holland and Jane Stimpson ; Executive producer
Tessa Livingstone Your NHS begins Wednesday at 7.30pm
