Leanne Rees was held hostage at gunpoint by her estranged boyfriend, the father of her two children. Detective Chief
Inspector Arthur Proud , senior negotiator with Durham
Constabulary, was given the task of ending the siege without anyone being hurt. But as this dramatisation of events reveals, for both the hostage and the negotiator in this moving and disturbing story, the ordeal went beyond the siege itself. Presented by Nick Ross.
