10. The Holy War: Roundheads and Cavaliers - and Everyman The Civil War is the culmination of an increasingly furious debate about the King, about God - and about a lot of other basic issues as well. Sometimes Everyman was violently partisan in this debate; but sometimes he wished it would just go away and leave him alone.
