The last in a series in three parts with Andrew Sachs West and East
As a boy in 1930s Berlin, Andrew Sachs could go eastwards through the Brandenberg Gate and along Unter den Linden. Now the Wall has made that route impossible. But Andrew and his wife, Melody, take the Stadtbahn over the Wall to get the feel of East Berlin.
There they talk to two actors - the outspoken Gerry Wolff and a leading light of Brecht's Berliner Ensemble, Wolf Kaiser.
