Stories about Britain's unsung heroes and heroines. Tonight's programme honours the work of Judy Fryd who over 50 years ago set up a charity for children with learning difficulties. Today it is known as Mencap.
Other awards go to the four men who saved a couple from near death after a car accident in Cumbria; and Pat Atkinson , who went to India to set up a training centre for orphans, a new hospital and a school forthe deaf.
