The Talbot International Games from Crystal Palace
The first major spectacular of the season features a host of top stars from all over the world.
Hurdler ED MOSES and ROD MILBURN represent the USA; DON QUARRIE, HASELY CRAWFORD and ALLAN WELLS contest the sprints. JOHN WALKER of New Zealand meets FILBERT bayi of Tanzania at 1500m. The men's javelin features MIKLOS NEMETH and FERENC PARAGI of Hungary and, in the women's high jump, Britain's LOUISE MILLER faces DEBBIE BRILL of Canada and ANDREA MATAY of Hungary. Plus, of course, Britain's top athletics talent.
