The Late Film: House in Nightmare Park

on BBC One London

tarring Frankie Howerd Ray Milland.
It is 1907. Roving thespian Foster Twelvetrees is invited to give a recital at an isolated stately home. As the thunder cracks and the lightning strikes, Foster becomes a little concerned about the strange goings on - a cellar full of snakes isn't normal, nor is a mad woman in the attic, and murder certainly isn't part of his regular performance. Laughs, chills and rolling eyes are all features of this unique comedy thriller.
