Omnibus: Listen, Paula....

on BBC One London

An intimate memoir of love, adventure and death. In 1992 Paula, the daughter of best-selling novelist Isabel Allende, fell ill and was in a coma for a year before dying. As she nursed Paula, her mother began writing down the story of her own life and that of her extraordinary family from Chile. This moving film interweaves the story of Paula's illness and death with the adventurous life of her mother.
