Hugo Gryn was born into a large and happy family in Czechoslovakia, but at the age of 13 his life was shattered when he was transported to Auschwitz, together with 15,000 other Jews from his home town. After the war he decided to become a Rabbi, and for the past 24 years has made his home in this country, where he is Senior Rabbi at
