Last of the Blonde Bombshells

on BBC One London

One-off musical drama starring Judi Dench and Ian Holm. Newly-widowed Elizabeth realises that she was happiest when playing in an (almost) all-girl swing band during the Second World War. When she meets the cross-dressing drummer Patrick the two decide to reunite the band for one last performance. Contains some bad language. See Choice.
