Eighteen months ago an unknown singer from
Greenwich Village made her first appearance on British television. By the following June she was playing at the Prince's Trust Concert at Wembley, and last month she embarked on a major tour, opening with this acclaimed concert at the Royal Albert Hall , London. Among the songs she performs are
