Extended highlights from Atlanta of all the overnight sporting action.
Five swimming titles were decided with Sarah Hardcastle aiming for one of five potential gold medals, having won silver for the 400m freestyle and bronze for the 800m freestyle 12 years ago at the Los Angeles Olympics.

Gold medals were also decided in the men's team event in gymnastics, won in Barcelona four years ago by the Unified Team of former Soviet Republics. The final of the men's team event in weightlifting also took place and once again the Unified Team were strong contenders.

There was also plenty of action in the overnight boxing and yachting heats.
Plus, the latest news from others sports including volleyball, hockey, basketball and the equestrian events, Introduced by Gary Lineker and Hazel Irvine.
