Were she 16 now, she'd have Bhangra. it's an East-meets-West musical phenomenon that's having the same effect on British Asian youth as rock 'n' roll had on American and European teenagers in the 50s. It's clandestine, it's revolutionary and it's an expression of the new identity of the British-born Asian.
