A Restoration Organ

on BBC Radio 3

The last of three programmes of organ music played on the 1670s organ at Guimiliau. Of all the organs built by the members of the English Dallam family in Britain during the 17th century, the one at Guimiliau is the most French in style.
Paul Nicholson celebrates this fusion of cultures, playing music by the French composers Roberday and Titelouze.
