The BBC Concert Orchestra, led by Martin Loveday and conducted by James Lockhart, perform some of the world's best-loved music by Donizetti, Rossini, Verdi and Puccini. Including the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves, the Anvil Chorus, the Triumphal Scene from Aida and excerpts from La Boheme. With guests Lillian Watson (soprano), Anthony Mee (tenor), and the Ambrosian Opera Chorus. Introduced by Richard Baker.
