Talk by Niall Rankin
Colonel A. N. T. Rankin has travelled many thousands of miles to the Antarctic and to North America to study the behaviour of sea birds. Recently he returned from the Antarctic where he was watching albatrosses and penguins from a base in South Georgia. In Norlh America his interest was in ducks and geese. At his home in the Island of Mull he is building up a live collection of every kind of European and N. American duck and goose.
