Co-founder and drummer of seminal sixties rock band the Soft Machine, Robert Wyatt, like his music, defies categorisation. Tonight Jez Nelson introduces a special programme of Wyatt's music put together by Wyatt and trombonist Annie Whitehead, recorded this week at the Royal Festival Hall, London, as part of the 1999 London Jazz Festival.
