A Wedding Mass. In 1554, Philip II of Spain married Mary Tudor in Winchester Cathedral - a historic occasion marking the union of the kingdoms of Spain and England. The Orchestra of the Renaissance, directed by Richard Cheetham , recreates the music that might have been heard during the wedding mass, with John Taverner 's monumental Missa Gloria
Tibi Trinitas interwoven with chant sung by Josep Cabre and instrumental music by Cabezon, Morales and Tallls.
