A Scottish Hour

on Regional Programme Scotland

with Song and Clatter
For the third year in succession Scottish Broadcasting House is to be the scene of New Year revelry. As on previous occasions, members of the Scottish staff will contribute to the programme, proving once again, it is hoped, that the staff can not only arrange programmes but contribute to them as well. This year, however, Edinburgh will not have it all its own way, Glasgow has some surprise items up its programme sleeve and listeners may confidently expect the appearance before the microphone of stars in the outside world of entertainment. Scottish Hour will be followed at midnight by an hour's music for dancing. The Scottish Regional transmitter, therefore, will be the only one running at this time and insatiable listeners in the South will have to go all-Scottish.
