Going for a Song

on BBC One London

A special programme in which Tim Clarke, Arthur Grimwade, Julian Thompson,
Hermione Waterfield talk about antiques of their choice and try to identify some puzzle objects
In the chair, Johnny Morris
from the South and West

You will notice several differences in today's programme, the last in the present series. There is no Max Robertson, no Arthur Negus. The customers are absent from their seats on the chairman's left. Johnny Morris, who has graced the programme once or twice before, will simply chat about objects of beauty and antiquity with four experts. But this does not set a new style. When the programme returns a few weeks hence both Max Robertson and Arthur Negus will be back. And the customers will be in their usual places.
