The Spanish army attacked the fort of the Black Eagle and although Mendoza used his cannon to fight back he couldn't stop them. The Spaniards stormed the fort and drove the Incas out.
Esteban, Tao and Zia ran away back towards the High Peak, following the secret underground passages the Incas had made.
